Riverwood Elementary PTO
The Riverwood PTO is a volunteer organization designed to form a collaboration of parents and teachers for the benefit of the school. The PTO hosts several fun and engaging events and activities throughout the school year such as the Boosterthon, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Dance and Trunk-Or-Treat. Participation in PTO sponsored activities allows the PTO to focus, support and encourage our amazing Riverwood students, staff, and teachers.
This focus typically includes:
- Fundraising
- Event organization
- Supplying classrooms
- Coordinating volunteers
- School maintenance & updates

The PTO is responsible for much of the school's fundraising revenue. We provide support to teachers and administrators, and they create a caring and supportive atmosphere in the school.

There's no better way to know what's going on in the school than to be involved in the PTO. We are often the first to hear about important decisions and changes the school is thinking about making, and as an active member, you will get to know teachers and administrators on a familiar basis.
